Anyway, renax' CG illustrations reminded me that I once had the plan to convert a Destroid Defender (a.k.a. as Rifleman under FASA's sway) into a lighter aerial defense robot with a gatling gun armament - I had a kit for that purpose stashed away years ago and a found this reference somewhere in Macross source material.
